Historical Note: Seth Cable is an Assistant Professor of Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He received his PhD in Linguistics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2007, and his research has primarily investigated aspects of the Tlingit language. Seth Cable has published two books and numerous papers demonstrating his research interests in semantics, syntax, and Na-Dene languages, with a focus on the Tlingit language.
