Seiki Kayamori Photograph Collection, 1916-1930 | Sealaska Heritage Institute Archives

This collection contains 24 glass plate negatives and 4 film negatives of images taken by Seiki Kayamori (1877-1941), Japanese cannery worker at Yakutat and amateur photographer. The images capture the people and scenery around Yakutat, Alaska.

The bulk of Seiki Kayamori’s photographs are held by the Alaska State Library, and patrons researching Kayamori should also consult that collection, known as the Fhoki [sic] Kayamori Collection (PO055).
