Scope and Contents: This collection consists of various historical photographs and postcards documenting the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian Indians of Southeast Alaska that were purchased on eBay. These images span from 1868 to circa 2000 and are in a variety of formats, from stereoscopic photos, real photo postcards, cabinet cards, and general black and white or color photographs. Many of the images in this collection were created by historic professional photographers that photographed Southeast Alaska Natives. This collection is expected to grow annually as more materials are acquired.
