Scope and Contents: This collection contains nine reproduced black and white photographs and fourteen negatives dating to between 1890 and 1960 which were originally held by Tlingit Native American Indian Nancy Jackson. These photos and negatives contain images of Nancy Jackson’s grandparents seated for a studio portrait, some of Jackson’s family and friends of Haines, Alaska in traditional regalia, people attending a funeral and potlatch, and images of a Native musical band. People in these photographs were identified by John Marks (Kooteix’téek).
